In a long-standing tradition, Timothy designed our jack-O-lanterns this year. When I looked at his drawing for the large pumpkin it took me a while to figure out that he wanted a pumpkin on the pumpkin. We worked together to figure out a way to make the drawn-on pumpkin a little more obvious. We decided to peel the skin off the pumpkin to highlight the shape of the drawn-on pumpkin. She came back and tried again and was successful. And I didn’t even have to say anything to her. She just saw me and went straight to the scene of the crime and tried to clean up the evidence. ______ Timothy loves to read, and so we let him read in bed before going to sleep at night.
