Well, it may be almost Thanksgiving, but my kids were too cute at Halloween this year not to make some note of them.
Timothy chose to be the most famous of plumbers, Mario. He loved it, although he was a little disappointed at how many other Mario’s and Luigi’s were also at his school. What can I say? He’s a popular guy.
Timothy also was “annoyed” by how everyone always said “Mario!” (you know, in that particular voice) when they saw him. Ummm ... can’t help you there, kid.
Sarah “chose” to be a lion. Because she has the cutest little “rawr” on the planet. Too bad she wouldn’t do it for anyone at our Trunk or Treat. But she was my cute little lion anyway. (To get a listen, watch this video, around the 1:15 mark.)
She was quite pleased with her little haul. Once she figured out that people would give stuff to her if she held out her bag, she was enthralled. She was too shy this year to actually say “Trick or Treat,” but we’ll work on that for next year.
This is the pumpkin that Timothy designed and Jared carved. Sarah was quite taken with Jack and was sad when he went away, but we enjoyed him and his minions while he lasted.
An up-close look at Jack’s minions. Our evil pumpkin can’t be a leader without someone to rule over, right?
VERY cute!!!
